If you have a Gmail account you have the option of sending auto replies to your friends , colleagues or any other person during your vacation period or any other occasion according to your plan. In this tutorial we will show you how to setup auto reply in Gmail and crating a customized canned email.
Step : 01
Login to your Gmail Inbox on the top right side click on "Settings" as shown in below image.
Step : 02
In the Settings dialog box Scroll down and Click on Settings as shown in Below Image.
Step : 03
In the "Settings" click on "General" Scroll down and you will see the " Vacation responder " dialog box as you can see in below image.
Step : 04
Select "Vacation Responder On" as shown in below image.
Step : 05 ( Creating a Canned Email )
For the Purpose of this tutorial we have assumed Mr.John is going on Vacation from 20th Dec 2015 to 14th Jan 2016 , Fill in the following details as an example for this tutorial as shown in below image.
First Day December 20, 2015
Select Last day January 14, 2016
Subject : ON LEAVE
Message : " Hi , Thank you for your email. I am currently on vacation and will be back on 14th January 2016. Best Regards John".
Step : 06
Lastly, Click on Save Changes Button as shown in below image now every time some one will send you an email during this specified period an auto reply shall be automatically sent to his or her inbox by Gmail from your account.
For turning off auto reply feature just Click on " Vacation responder off " delete all other information and click on Save Changes button as shown in below image.
